Andrew Amborski PhD, DDS, FICOI
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada and completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University Toronto. He then went on to complete a PhD in chemistry and publish original research at York University, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Dr. Amborski, then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy, which also included completion of an elective program in implant dentistry.
Dr. Amborski is now in his tenth year of dental practice and continues to be passionate about learning and helping people find their optimal oral health. In a changing field like dentistry, staying up to date is important and he attends over 70 hours a year of continuing education. He really enjoys the combination of helping people, science, and art that the profession of dentistry provides.
He is currently a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Asssociation (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), the Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and has been awarded Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Amborski enjoys skiing, golf, reading, exercising and food.
